RoboCop 3 is widely regarded as the weakest entry in the original trilogy, toning down the violence to secure a PG-13 rating and replacing Peter Weller with Robert John Burke. Fred Dekker's film leans harder into the original's satirical instincts, but its reduced budget and creative constraints left it a shadow of Verhoeven's original.
