THE VERDICT
Synthesized from published reviews
Featuring Orlando Bloom and Cara Delevingne, this Victorian fantasy noir weaves themes of immigration and bigotry into a darkly detailed creature mystery. Its ambitious production design builds a rich, grim world, even when the convoluted romantic melodrama occasionally stumbles. It remains a uniquely stylized dark fairytale for fans of complex urban fantasy.
