THE VERDICT

Synthesized from published reviews

This 1980s Saturday morning cartoon absurdly sanitizes the tragic veteran hero into a GI Joe style defender of global freedom. While hilariously disconnected from the gritty violence of First Blood, its synth score and over-the-top military action offer fun retro nostalgia. It stands as a fascinating artifact of 1980s pop culture marketing.
