THE VERDICT

Synthesized from published reviews

Adapting Anthony Horowitz's bestselling Alex Rider novels, this slick British spy adventure aims for a darker teen espionage tone. A stellar supporting cast including Ewan McGregor and Mickey Rourke elevates the proceedings, though the narrative feels rushed to fit movie runtime constraints. It remains an underrated, stylish attempt to launch a YA spy franchise.
