THE VERDICT

Synthesized from published reviews

Will Ferrell transforms the innocent seventies sci-fi show into a surreal, R-rated comedy packed with absurd improvisational humor. The high-budget creature design and lush prehistoric environments contrast bizarrely with crude jokes and trippy set pieces. It remains a divisive cult comedy that rewards viewers attuned to Ferrell's unhinged comedic style.
