THE VERDICT

Synthesized from published reviews

Doug Liman updates the 1989 cult classic into a muscular, self-aware brawlfest anchored by Jake Gyllenhaal's charming intensity. Conor McGregor adds wild, unhinged energy in his acting debut, emphasizing the film's trashy pulp appeal. It is a delightfully violent popcorn flick that leans heavily into its own absurdity.
