THE VERDICT

Synthesized from published reviews

Matt Damon and Ben Affleck bring intense screen presence to this tight Miami crime thriller about corruption and paranoia inside a police task force. Director Joe Carnahan infuses the narrative with hard-boiled dialogue and unrelenting psychological tension. It is a satisfying, gritty throwback to classic police thrillers.
