THE VERDICT

Synthesized from published reviews

Dan Aykroyd and Tom Hanks deliver deadpan perfection in this affectionate spoof of the classic police procedural. Aykroyd's rapid-fire delivery of absurd legalities pairs brilliantly with Hanks' youthful energy. It remains a hilarious, quotable 1980s comedy classic.
