THE VERDICT

Synthesized from published reviews

Despite lasting only six episodes, this brilliant Zucker-Abrahams-Zucker series laid the blueprint for modern cinematic deadpan slapstick. Leslie Nielsen's unflappable performance as Frank Drebin delivers endless background gags and absurd wordplay. It remains one of the most influential and hilarious short-lived comedies in television history.
