THE VERDICT

Synthesized from published reviews

Benny Safdie's unflinching biographical drama showcases a transformative dramatic turn from Dwayne Johnson as pioneer mixed martial artist Mark Kerr. Raw and emotionally grueling, the film probes the devastating physical and psychological costs of elite combat sports. It stands as a courageous, stripped-down achievement that redefines Johnson's acting career.
