THE VERDICT

Synthesized from published reviews

Adam Carolla stars in this lighthearted, semi-autobiographical comedy about an aging construction worker making an unlikely bid for the Olympic boxing team. Grounded by self-deprecating humor and understated charm, it provides a refreshingly modest spin on the classic sports trope. It offers an endearing, funny look at second chances and working-class grit.
