THE VERDICT

Synthesized from published reviews

Jim Sheridan's reunion with Daniel Day-Lewis yields a poignant, restrained drama set against the backdrop of Troubles-era Belfast. Day-Lewis brings immense quiet dignity to a former fighter striving for peace and reconciliation in a fractured community. It stands as a deeply moving synthesis of romance, politics, and sports drama.
