THE VERDICT

Synthesized from published reviews

Darren Aronofsky directs Mickey Rourke in a heart-wrenching, career-defining performance as an aging professional wrestler clinging to his former glory. Raw, intimate, and deeply compassionate, it is a tragic character study that honors the physical sacrifice of the sport. Rourke's emotional honesty creates an unforgettable cinematic tragedy.
