THE VERDICT

Synthesized from published reviews

Taron Egerton and Hugh Jackman bring effortless charm to this buoyant crowd-pleaser about Britain's unlikely 1988 Olympic ski jumper. The script leans shamelessly into underdog tropes, but executes them with such infectious warmth and 1980s pop energy that resistance is futile. It is pure, joyful feel-good entertainment that honors the thrill of simply competing.
