THE VERDICT

Synthesized from published reviews

Drew Barrymore's directorial debut is a vibrant, empowering coming-of-age story set inside the fast-paced world of Texas roller derby. Elliot Page brings endearing angst and charm to the lead role, backed by an electric ensemble cast and a killer indie soundtrack. It is a delightfully rebellious alternative sports film with real heart.
