THE VERDICT

Synthesized from published reviews

Seann William Scott subverts expectations as a sweet-natured bouncer who finds his calling as a minor-league hockey enforcer. The film marries bloody, bone-crunching ice action with an unexpectedly sweet core and hilarious vulgarity. It stands out as one of the best and funniest sports comedies of the 2010s.
