THE VERDICT

Synthesized from published reviews

This third installment recycles the franchise's nostalgia by using a time-travel gimmick to teach a selfish pro player a lesson in sportsmanship. Despite a few nostalgic references and returning faces, the low-budget production lacks the heart and authenticity of the original. It is a strictly derivative sequel for devoted fans of the series.
