THE VERDICT

Synthesized from published reviews

The fifth entry in the venerable franchise strands John McClane in a dull Russian buddy-cop spectacle that abandons everything that made the character relatable. Burdened by CGI clutter, tired banter, and a complete lack of tension, Bruce Willis simply goes through the motions. It marks an unfortunate low point for a legendary action saga.
