THE VERDICT
Synthesized from published reviews
Joe Dante takes the wheel for an unhinged sequel that turns the original monster movie into a satirical, fourth-wall-breaking comedy set inside a high-tech Manhattan skyscraper. Packed with cartoon gags, inventive creature designs, and corporate parodies, it revels in pure cinematic chaos. It is a bold cult masterpiece that stands as one of the most creative sequels ever made.
