THE VERDICT
Synthesized from published reviews
Set seventy-five thousand light-years from home, this Star Trek entry captures the thrill of isolation as Captain Janeway leads a joint Starfleet and Maquis crew across unexplored space. The series hits its stride with the introduction of Jeri Ryan's Seven of Nine, delivering deep character arcs and memorable ethical dilemmas. It stands as a resilient and compelling chapter in the franchise's golden television era.
