Set far before the Skywalker Saga, Dawn of the Jedi is positioned as an origin story for the earliest understanding of the Force. It connects the familiar Jedi mythology to a much older era, before the Republic, the Empire, or the families that later define the galaxy. Its placement gives fans a starting point for how Star Wars may explore the spiritual roots behind its most enduring ideas.
