THE VERDICT
Synthesized from published reviews
Eyes of Wakanda is an animated anthology series that uses its Hatut Zeraze premise to move freely across historical periods — from ancient Crete to the Trojan War to the late 19th century — giving each episode a self-contained adventure with a consistent thematic anchor in Wakandan identity and the cost of protecting it. The animation is handsome and the historical settings are rendered with more care than most short-form Marvel content attempts. At four episodes the series is brief, but each installment is complete rather than truncated. A worthwhile addition to the animated Marvel catalog and a confident use of the anthology format.
