Loki — Season 1

THE VERDICT

Synthesized from published reviews

Loki arrived as Marvel's most formally ambitious Disney+ series — a time-bending identity story wrapped in bureaucratic absurdism. Tom Hiddleston finally has room to let the character breathe beyond villainy, and his dynamic with Owen Wilson's Mobius is the show's emotional engine. The TVA world-building is inventive enough that the multiverse mechanics feel earned rather than obligatory. The finale's abrupt tonal shift into cosmological exposition divides viewers, but the journey there — especially the Loki-Sylvie dynamic — is some of the best character work the MCU produced in Phase 4.
