PLACE IN THE UNIVERSE
Where this fits in the larger story
The Authority is positioned within the new DCU as a team story built around heroes who challenge traditional ideas of power, justice, and control. It connects the franchise's superhero foundations with a more aggressive and morally complicated approach to saving the world. Its placement helps viewers understand how the DCU may test the limits of heroism beyond familiar Justice League ideals.
