THE MULTIxVERSE -- Meta/Instagram Connection
What data do we collect?
When you connect your Instagram account to THE MULTIxVERSE, we store:
- Your Instagram username and professional account ID
- Your Facebook Page name and ID (for the connection)
- An encrypted access token (used only for API calls you authorize)
- The scopes and permissions you granted
We do NOT collect your Instagram password, direct messages, or personal data from your followers.
What about Social Buzz content?
Social Buzz posts are editorial content curated by our team. They are separate from your connection data. Deleting your connection does NOT remove Social Buzz posts, but you may request removal of any content that features your account by including it in your request.
How to request deletion
Send an email to tony@joinsecondascent.com with the subject line "Meta Data Deletion Request".
Include your Instagram username so we can identify the connection. We will:
- Revoke and delete your encrypted access token
- Remove your connection metadata (username, account ID, page ID)
- Confirm completion within 30 days
- Notify you when deletion is complete
This page fulfills the Meta app data deletion callback requirement. The deletion callback endpoint is registered with Meta and receives signed deletion requests. All deletion requests are processed manually and confirmed via email.
